Graphics are poor. Fighters don't like anything like the actual fighters(example chris leben). Career mode disappoints
10 to 20 Hours
The Bottom Line:
After playing the game for the past two days I am thoroughly disappointed. The graphics in this game actually seem worse than the last games graphics. Fighters are not updated and most don't even look like the fighters(Chris Leben). The roster is nice but the problem is that the game just feels like it was rushed. The career mode lacks any depth or interesting story at all. Load menus are agonizing from the wait time. Honestly this game comes with so many bugs and glitches it is like they didn't even care. Fight animations glitch and lag and one point dan hardy's elbow was 90 degrees backwards still throwing punches. I was very excited but another THQ title that disappoints. If I were the UFC I would not let THQ make another one and let EA do a proper job and also having to download stuff for the other game modes feels like a rip off. You pay $60 and then still have to buy 3 separate fight packs around $10 and other fighters around 3 dollars. I wouldn't buy this game and some what regret buying it. I am a die hard MMA fan but this game is just poor. Probably the worst in the series so far.
Despite its flaws, I'd say that the game as a whole is a must-buy for fans of the series.
10 Hours or Less
The Bottom Line:
"Best in series"
UFC Undisputed 3 steps into the Octagon almost 2 years after the release of UFC Undisputed 2010. Graphically, the game is superb, the controls have been adapted to give new gamers a starting point (simplified ground controls), career mode has been improved, you can now use fighters from the UFC roster as well as your own creations. The biggest addition is PRIDE mode, with authentic presentation and a completely different set of rules, there is plenty of variety in the game to keep you fighting.Finally. THQ have done the right thing for the first time in the series. They listened to critics of the fans and made the game even better than it was. Career is now even better that it used to be, filled with a lot more action and a lot less of "managing". Submission system has been revamped to BETTER, now with indication how close you are to a victory. 100+ fighters will guarantee that not a single fight will ever be the same. And have I mentioned amazing commentary? As far as it goes for me, this game is just as good as you would expect from an UFC game.
